Dutch Auction
On a Dutch auction on ebay, said myEbay "bid up." Why if I show that I'm "winning" this job?
At present my offer is worth 2 points (the number being auctioned) to another bidder who is bidding for one the two elements. I'm confused. Reading the help topic does not yet see how this auction works, except it seems that if I did not get the 2 items in my bid price so I will not be something where I can refuse to take one if someone else wins the auction.
They have this message when they think you can increase your bid, usually if it is close to the offer immediately below. They try to avoid being outbid at the last minute.
