Where do you find inspiration?
I've noticed that alot of these questions in the poetry section is "hows my work" (no, that isn't obvious enough =D) So where do you guys get your ideas. Mine personally come when I'm blank. My head is silent except for the things I need at that moment. For instance. I may be cleaning the kitchen and my head sounds like this. "sponge, pine sol, comet, hot water, scrub, stumbling over my tongue, good first line, scrub, more pine sol" like that. Usually I focus on that line later and my mind as well as a little voice telling me what sounds better and what meets my needs and voila I have a poem. Don't think I'm crazy, Robert Louis Stevenson thought little people in his head told him stories and helped him write.
You've answered your own question. Inspiration is in little daily things we do, or when your mind takes a wandering journey. Sometimes it comes in response to others actions or words. Sometimes it springs almost full-blown from nowhere. Especially irritating when it's great and your too far from pen and paper!!
